Currently serving as Fort Bend County Treasurer, elected for a four-year term; Vice-Chair of the Fort Bend County Bail Bond Board; Member of the Texas Associations of Counties – County Investment Academy; and, current Vice President and former President of the Rosenberg Railroad Museum Board of Directors.
Started career in computing technology, moving into executive management including numerous leadership roles in the computer technology and international oil & gas industries, and was fully responsible for a $90M revenue seismic processing business unit. After leaving the industry, became co-owner of a financial information services business servicing Texas Special Districts.
Community supporter and volunteer through years of service to our community. Served on the Texas House District 26 – Tax District Advisory Team, Texas Association of Counties – Core Legislative Group, Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District 206 – Board of Directors, Rosenberg Railroad Museum volunteer, New Territory Homeowner Association, along with numerous other roles. 10 years as elected Fort Bend Republican Party Precinct Chair and served as the Party’s Communications Committee Chairman.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, married to Lisa Pezant Rickert for 36 years. Resides in Fort Bend County for the past 27 years where we raised our two daughters. Our eldest, Annelise, serves as Legal Counsel in Washington, DC specializing in energy policy, for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Our youngest, Katherine, is presently in her last year of law school at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, specializing in mental health policy.
